PP770 Challenge Winners

Happy Saturday.
Jaydee here.  Thank you so much to all of you who played along with our sketch challenge last week.  We loved visiting each of your creations and, as usual, you made it difficult for us to choose our winners.  We really do appreciate your support.

Before we get to our HEADLINER this week, let's take a look at our CUT ABOVE winners as chosen by our design team.

Stef

Colleen

Paula

And now to our Headliner.

Bobby

I absolutely loved Bobby's bright, cheerful card featuring some of my all time favorite avian visitors!  The little cardinal in his wool scarf just made me smile.  The little chickadee with ear muffs made me laugh and I promise you, if the blue jays in our garden could wear Santa hats, I am sure they would!  The background embossing was the perfect way to add texture, and provide a place for the little birdies to rest.  Congratulations, Bobby you are my HEADLINER this week.

PP769 Challenge Winners

Happy Saturday everyone - Joanne here, and it is my pleasure to announce the winners of this week's clean and simple challenge.  Firstly, a huge thank you to all of you who played along with our challenge this week.  It was wonderful to see your signs of winter, from building snowmen to cosying up with cocoa and a good book!

Before we get to our Headliner for this week, let's see what caught the eye of our design team:

And now to our Headliner:
Jolanda Johnstone - The inque Spot Studio

There were some beautiful clean and simple creations in the gallery this week, but Jolanda's snowman, looking up at the falling snowflakes, truly captured my heart! Such a simple design, with clever stamping to create depth to her snowy scene and lots of all important 'white' space.

Congratulations Jolanda on being my Headliner this week!

Congratulations to all the winners - be sure to pick up your badges here!  Be sure to come back tomorrow for a sketch challenge from Jaydee.

PP769 - A CAS Challenge from Joanne

Hello crafty friends, it's Joanne here welcoming you to a new CAS challenge at the Paper Players!  But before we get to that, I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who played along with LeAnne's Colour Challenge.  The gallery was small but mighty, with some fabulous creations that showcased the colours beautifully.

Now onto our monthly Clean and Simple challenge.  I've chosen a seasonal theme and I'm looking for signs of winter on your CAS card.  Things like snow, snowmen, snowflakes, hats, scarves, mittens, warming hot cocoa, sledging, snowball fights, ice skating, icicles, are just some ideas - but specifically NOT Christmas!  Just remember to keep it CAS - limited layers and embellishments, plenty of "white" space, etc.

Now let's go see what the design team chose as their signs of winter!

PP768 Challenge Winners

Hello stampers! LeAnne here, saying "THANKS" for making my colors really shine in this week's gallery! So many gorgeous creations!  Let's see what the Design Team's favorites for their Cuts Above were before I share my Headliner!
Sidan

Arlene R

Julia Sager

And finally, for my Headliner:

Colleen Begley

I was totally enthralled by those wonderful stenciled balloons on Colleen's card!  The shading was perfect and the layout really brought it all together! The sentiment was really fun, especially embossed in the silver, and the little silver embellishments added a nice little extra touch!  Congratulations, Colleen, you're my Headliner this week!

Congratulations to all the winners!  Be sure to pick up your badges HERE.  And be sure to come back tomorrow for a new challenge from Joanne!

PP767 Challenge Winners

Happy Saturday.
Jaydee here.  Thank you to those who participated in our gifting challenge last week.  It was wonderful to see such a diverse range of projects in our gallery.  Once again you all made it hard for us to choose our winners.

Let's see what caught the eye of our design team this week:

Michele F

Debbie

Fran

Now for our HEADLINER:

Cynthia

I fell in love with Cynthia's beautifully feminine box with its sparkly contents!  I mean, who wouldn't want to receive this bottle of sparkles so exquisitely packaged? The touch of blue for the ribbon with the white twine ribbon on top adds a wonderful pop of color and texture.  That DSP is just gorgeous and Cynthia's  design showcases that perfectly.  Congratulations, Cynthia you are my HEADLINER for this week.

Well, this is our final post for 2025 and we want to thank all of you who have supported our challenges during 2025.  Your participation means a great deal to us.

We will be back on January 11 2026.  In the meantime we want to wish all of you Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Joyous Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah and a very Happy New Year.
